Petroleum
From 1 January 2005 the environmental regulation of upstream petroleum activities in Queensland shall be administered through provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 as amended by the Environmental Protection and Other Legislation Act 2004. Chapter 4A of the amended Act provides for the issuing and related dealings for an environmental authority for petroleum activities.
