Greentape Reduction Bill

The Greentape Reduction project has been established to streamline, integrate and coordinate regulatory requirements under the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (EP Act) without compromising environmental outcomes. The project will result in annual savings for business and government of $12.5 million per year.
The Environmental Protection (Greentape Reduction) and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2011 (PDF)* (Greentape Reduction Bill) was introduced into the Legislative Assembly on 26 October 2011 and is a key component of the Greentape Reduction project.
