ecoBiz Partnerships are awarded at an official ceremony, where the Minister for Environment and Resource Management is typically in attendance to present new partners with their certificates. With our professional photographer present to capture the moment, this presents a fantastic opportunity to publicly recognise the environmental savings your business has made.
After becoming an ecoBiz Partner, your business can also tap into the growing demand for ‘environmentally friendly’ goods and services and growing community expectations for environmental performance by using the ecoBiz Partner logo on your business communication and promotional materials.
DERM also produces case studies to showcase the achievements and savings Partners are making by undertaking the program.

Preserving the integrity of the ecoBiz program is of utmost importance to the Department. All data provided by ecoBiz Participants is verified by the Queensland Government and is subject to independent auditing to ensure information presented by the Department on the achievements of ecoBiz
Partners is accurate. Strict Partnership guidelines have also been implemented
to maintain the credibility of the ecoBiz program and its Partners.
By using the ecoBiz Partner logo a business can confidently say that their sustainability improvements and reduced carbon footprint have been properly verified by the Queensland Government.

Become eligible for environmental licensing discounts
If your business undertakes any Environmentally Relevant Activities (ERA), becoming an ecoBiz Partner entitles you to a 10% discount on your DERM annual environmental licensing fees. Please note that to be eligible for the discount your ecoBiz Partnership must be current for the annual return period.
