The Tewantin Noosa RSL & Citizens Memorial Club, situated on the Sunshine Coast, services approximately 200,000 patrons each year. This club saves nearly $2,000 each year due to a 40% increase in the amount of materials recycled (i.e. printer cartridges, paper, plastic and metals). The RSL has also reduced resource use by installing energy efficient lighting, waterless urinals, and water efficient toilets, as well as an environmental awareness training programs for staff.
