Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort, is a 300 plus room hotel located on the Gold Coast. The resort's project (PDF, 162K)* reduced their water consumption by optimising water feature pumps, installing flow restrictors, efficient dishwashers and by utilising bore / rainwater for irrigation. Improvements in energy efficiency were achieved by installing variable speed drives, smart electricity metering, light management systems and an ozone generator in their laundry.
