PAC Foundry's Max Voight receiving their ecoBiz Partner certificate from former Minister McNamara
CQMS Group T/A PAC Foundry manufactures mining, sugar milling and transport equipment from their premises at Maryborough. Through ecoBiz, PAC Foundry implemented two projects which have helped them achieve industry best practice. The first project was the upgrade of the foundry furnace, which reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and resulted in higher quality castings. The second project involved the installation of a sand pumping and reclamation system. This system has seen a 15% increase (from 70 to 85%) in the amount of reclaimed sand (against an industry standard of below 40 percent).

- Energy 45 % (1,002 Queensland homes or 54,715,152 MJ)
- Greenhouse Gas 28% (1,006 cars or 4,024 t CO2-e)
- Waste disposal 69% (32,119 wheelie bins or 7,709 m3)
- Efficiency savings $918,111
