The Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove (HRSC) is a 247 room 5-star resort situated in the golfing and marina precinct of Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast. The Hyatt's project (PDF, 1.6M)* saved water by watering their gardens with water from their golf-course lakes and by topping up their pool with water from the marina. Further water savings were made by installing water-efficient dishwashers, shower heads, faucet flow restrictors and an infra-red sensor in their urinals. The resort also installed efficient lighting, light and motion sensors and a control system for all guest room A/C units.
