Currumbin Palm Beach RSL is a local services and memorial club with bars, dining, gaming and function areas. The club looked into improving efficiency in air conditioning, hot water, lighting and water. The club installed energy saving devices to all the A/C compressors, replaced the existing electric hot water system with a new heat pump system, and converted the existing 36W T8 tubes to 28W T5 tubes. They also replaced 500 existing 50W halogen down lights with LED’s, and installed waterless urinals.

- Energy 13% (19 Households or 1,022,780 MJ)
- Greenhouse Gas 4% (20 cars or 83.66 t CO2-e)
- Potable water 29% (1 Olympic swimming pool or 2,708 kL)
- Efficiency savings $54,893
