Colorcorp previously Colorscreen Print, is a Queensland owned screen-printing operation based at Stafford. With the assistance of an ecoBiz rebate, Colorcorp became the first company in Queensland to install a Grunig G-174 in-line screen cleaning machine, which reduces water and solvent consumption. The machine operates according to the ‘bath exchange’ principle allowing water to be re-used and re-circulated, thereby reducing water demand and trade waste discharge volume. The machine also reduced labour input, production downtime and is gentle on screens thereby maximising lifespan.
