Century Yuasa Batteries, an Australian owned battery manufacturer. At their Carole Park site, they instigated a Water Efficiency Management Plan (WEMP) and began sub-metering their individual processes to help identify where water savings could be made. They began capturing and re-using waste water from battery and equipment wash-down procedures for sulphuric acid dilution and other activities. They also began recycling and re-using various waste streams (including, plastic wrap, cardboard, polystyrene and wooden pallets). The company also instigated battery recycling to reclaim acids and plastics to produce more batteries and household products.

- Energy 25% (400 Queensland homes or 21.8 TJ)
- Greenhouse Gas 26% (1,251 cars or 5,164.8 t CO2)
- Potable water 83% (52 Olympic swimming pools or 130.62 ML)
- Efficiency savings $749,185
