Buderim Ginger located at Yandina on the Sunshine Coast, produce a range of ginger products for the global market. With the help of an ecoBiz rebate, they installed a Sessil Trickling filter system to treat waste water and reduce trade waste costs, and a Membrane Batch reactor to reduce their total water usage. Coupled with the new energy reducing technologies they installed for their ventilation, air conditioning and boiler system, Buderim Ginger have significantly reduced both their environmental impact and their resource costs.
