Australian Food Corporation's Damian Gilpin receiving their ecoBiz Partner certificate from former Minister Jones
Australian Food Corporation (AFC) located near Brisbane, specialise in processing beef products. To reduce water and energy use the project (PDF, 238K)* at AFC installed water efficient equipment and changed their cleaning processes and stock receiving processes to reduce the amount of containers needing to be washed. They also turned sprayers off when not in use and made process changes to reduce the amount of water used when defrosting freezers.

- Energy 13% (55 Queensland homes or 2,979,224 MJ)
- Greenhouse Gas 8% (168 cars or 671.43 t CO2-e)
- Potable water 58% (9 Olympic swimming pools or 22,416 kL)
- Waste disposal 3% (12 wheelie bins or 3 m3)
- Efficiency savings $117,137
