Before you undertake any activity in a marine park, you should check the zoning plan for that area to see if the activity is allowed, and whether it requires a marine park permit.
If you are in any doubt about whether a permit is required, contact Permit and Licence Management or email palm@derm.qld.gov.au for assistance.
To assist you when applying for a permit, you will receive an information pack containing background material and an application form.
