Tourism Forums
A key action of the Queensland Tourism Strategy, Tourism Industry Forums were established to improve communication between the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and the tourism industry. The formation of these groups demonstrates the willingness of all parties to develop an enduring and mutually beneficial partnership.
State-wide Tourism Industry Forum (SWTIF)
The Forum provides an industry perspective on tourism management issues in protected areas, forests and marine parks across the state. It was established in 2006 and meets tri-yearly at various locations across the State including Brisbane.
