The department park offices

At times it may be necessary to contact ranger staff about on-park maintenance requirements such as trees across tracks. A list of EPA on-park offices in national parks is provided for this purpose. Due to the nature of ranger work, these offices may only be staffed for brief periods during the day so it is advised to leave a message if this option is available.

You should note that not all parks have offices on site. Check the EPA offices for assistance should this be the case.

For emergencies call 000 or try 112 from mobile phones if no reception. Mobile phone reception is limited in some areas and it is advisable to check with your service provider regarding their coverage in a particular area.

In emergencies park staff may be of assistance to emergency services personnel for help with restricted area access, crowd control or where local knowledge is paramount.

All permit enquiries should be directed in the first instance to Ecoaccess on 1300 368 326. Please do not call rangers on park regarding your permit.

If you wish to request information from the department please contact our Customer Service Centre by email at info@epa.qld.gov.au. We are committed to responding to your request within five working days.
