Air quality trend graphs
Air quality has been measured in South East Queensland since 1978. The monitoring program provides information that can be used to identify long-term trends in air quality across the region by comparison against goals defined in the National Environment Protection Measure for Ambient Air Quality (also referred to as the Air NEPM) and the Environmental Protection Policy (Air) (Air EPP).
Particulate matter in the atmosphere is abbreviated to PM10 and PM2.5 for particles of less than 10 micron and 2.5 micron respectively.
