- The Department of Environment and Resource Management produces a range of environmental data that is made available to its customers. Some mapping and databases are available free of charge for viewing or requesting online.
- Regional ecosystem database and maps
- The regional ecosystems classification scheme and associated mapping have been developed to assist government, business and the community to incorporate biodiversity into planning and management. The framework is used in a wide range of applications including the Vegetation Management Act 1999, delineation of environmentally sensitive areas for mining, Biodiversity Planning Assessments and regional planning schemes (e.g. local government, natural resource management bodies). Includes: Regional Ecosystem Description Database (REDD), Regional Ecosystem Data (REDATA) and Regional Ecosystem Maps (REMAPS).

- This website enables the selection of an area of interest to obtain digital wetland mapping data, provides access to maps in portable document format (PDF) and provides the ability to select an area of interest and obtain a map in portable document format (PDF) e-mailed to a valid e-mail address.
- WildNet
- WildNet, DERM's wildlife database, contains recorded wildlife sightings and listings of plants, fungi, protists, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, freshwater fish, marine cartilaginous fish and butterflies in Queensland. Wildlife Online provides access to lists of wildlife that the department has recorded in WildNet for areas such as national parks, State forests and shires, or areas defined by the user.
