Our organisation

The Department of Environment and Resource Management was formed on 26 March 2009 by merging  the former Department of Natural Resources and Water and the former Environmental Protection Agency.

Ministers

The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) is responsible to the Minister for Natural Resources, Mines and Energy, and the Minister for Climate Change and Sustainability.
