The department’s strategic plans provide details on how we propose to conserve, protect and manage the state’s environment and natural resources for today and for future generations.
Strategic Plan 2011–15
The department’s Strategic Plan 2011–15 sets the direction and approach the department will take in meeting its responsibilities over the next four years, including leading the State’s environmental recovery from natural disasters under Operation Queenslander.
The plan outlines the department’s objectives, strategies to achieve these objectives, and how it will measure its performance.
The Queensland Government’s vision for 2020, Toward Q2: Tomorrow’s Queensland and other state and national priorities were key considerations in developing this plan.
