Multicultural Action Plan
The Department of Environment and Resource Management’s Multicultural Action Plan 2010–13 contributes to meeting the Queensland Government’s Toward Q2: Tomorrow’s Queensland (PDF)* ambitions of Fair—supporting safe and caring communities, and Green—protecting our lifestyle and environment, and supports its multicultural policy.
The Action Plan demonstrates our commitment to:
- improving access to departmental policies, information and services for all members of our diverse society
- attracting and retaining a workforce that is representative of Queensland’s cultural diversity
- promoting and participating in activities that celebrate and increase our appreciation of our diverse community.
