Disability Service Plan

The Disability Services Act 2006 requires Queensland Government departments to develop a Disability Service Plan to identify issues regarding service delivery to people with a disability and how the department will address these issues.

The Queensland Government has introduced a 10-year plan Absolutely everybody: enabling Queenslanders with a disability. The plan aims to improve access and participation in all aspects of community life, and sets out an ambitious and challenging vision.

The implementation of Absolutely everybody will be through three, three-year whole-of-government action plans and a final year of consolidation.

Absolutely everybody: action plan 2011-14 outlines the actions to be delivered by Queensland Government departments during the first three years, including actions involving local governments, business, industry and community organisations.

DERM has prepared a three-year plan supporting the introduction of the government’s Absolutely everybody plan.
