Budget
The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) has a budget of $1.1 billion in 2011-12. This increased injection of funds, an increase of nine per cent from the previous year, delivers a strong investment in environment and resource management, reaffirming the government’s commitment to a greener, more sustainable Queensland.

Service Delivery Statement
The Service Delivery Statement (SDS) (PDF)* gives an overview of DERM’s key strategies for managing the environmental and resource management challenges facing the state in 2011-12. It also provides details of agency outputs and financial statements, and reflects on some of the achievements of 2010-11.
The SDS is the primary source of information for the hearings of the Parliamentary Estimates Committee, and is a useful resource for Members of Parliament, the media and the public.
